Paying for pot holes.

Hi to all,

Well I have taxed my old Bedford cf today for the next six months, I was going to tax it for a year but then seen how much six months was costing me £115.56.
Then looked at the Asda petrol price board across the road from my house and seen £1.32.09 per liter and thought six months is enough.
But then it must cost a lot of money for the road department to link up all those pot holes with strips of tar, making sure that the holes are set so that you can't miss any of them.
I wonder if there are any pot holes on the royal route to the abbey tomorrow?
And have they had to look at the price at the filling station before they fill up the rolls, can I have one of those royal standards to stick on the roof of my Bedford that would save me the tax and I would not need number plates.

Doug.
