Indicator assembly stalk and switch

We are novices and have a great vehicle but the indicators no longer work properly and we need to find a new part. We could be randomly searching the net for ever. Please can anyone help. Where do we go for such a part? Our van is a 1984 model and we are going to add some pictures. Many thanks. Steve and Joy. Warwickshire.

If the plastic bits of the switch aren't broken then it might be repairable.

They do come up for sale from time to time but there's none I can find on Ebay listed for the CF.

I think someone has figured a fix using the BL Mini stalk switch though.

Indicators malfunction

We don't have broken plastic, seems to be a wiring prob as the hazards now work, and they didn't before! Thanks for your reply. Still trying to figure out how to copy picture from email.

Hazard warning and indicators problems can be due to dirty contacts in the hazard warning switch.

Fix is to operate the hazard warning switch with a snap with ignition switched on until either indicator works fine when the hazard warning switch is off.

If you're lucky then the hazard warning might start working as it should too - same set of contacts involved.

To do that you need a hosting site, most use photobucket.Once you've uploaded them to pb copy the img code link & paste into your message.A little tute here.
