Petrol

Ive been told I shold be using a adative in my petrol. Ive got a 2.3 engine. What shold i be using and how often?

you need lead replacement,use every filling I use Wynn's substi-plomb lead substitute it has a built in measurer so you know the exact amount to use per litre.

I'm not sure if this garage still does it but it's listed as stocking leaded.
The Teesdale Garage,Hucknall Road,Nottingham,NG5 1FD.Is that near to you?

Next time Im near there Ill have a look. I need to now what to do when I fill up with normal petrol. Looks like ill have to get som of that wynns stuff.

I've always used Morris Lead Substitute - also has a very accurate measuring device, and is usually cheaper than most others

ive got a inline lead think that the fuel goes through [ hope you know wot i mean ]but dont know how long its been there is this sufficient or should i be putting in some thing in to the fuel as well .also rich you say you put some in every time is that only when you FILL your tank up or just a bit every time ?

Hi when I put petrol in I read the Litres, min of 5 the measurer is marked in 5 Litres increnents so fill the measurer to the required amount then pour it in the tank. the bottle will treat 250 Litres
