CF1 and CF2 suspension arm compatibility I am in the midst of stripping my CF2 van (D-reg 250P)down as a donor vehicle to use in my CF1 to run a Manta FI engine with disk brakes. It will be a long term project, but I have a few quick questions...I will be using the CF2 front cross member and axle stubs for the disks, but the wishbones can come from either - the CF1 having fewer miles on them. Can I use CF1 wishbones and / or CF1 wishbone bushes (can't seem to get hold of any for the CF2) on a CF2 cross member. I would prefer to use the CF1 wishbones purely as i have a brand new set of shocks for them, and the CF2 uses a eyelet fitting shock, so not compatible. If I must use the CF2 wishbones, can anyone suggest a supplier for the bushes. Cheers Phil ---------------------- | Thu 15 Aug 2013 @ 10:03 |

CF1 and CF2 wish bones are interchangeable. main difference is how both ball joints fit into the arms. to fit the CF2 front x member you will need to swap the front mounting point as CF1 and CF2 are different. Cheers Gethin. I knew about the TREs, can hopefully re-use the ones from my donor van for the time being. | Mon 19 Aug 2013 @ 16:35 |
