brakes

looking for gold dust. a new brake master cylinder for a 79 mk1 350 willing to pay for the right one or a good condition s/h one. I've had all my brakes overhauled but the pedal is still hitting the floor although after pumping the pedal comes up harder. everything has been replaced with new parts but still pedal hits the floor servo is good master cylinder seems to be the culprite

brake master cylinder

can you help I have found a master cylinder on e=bay could someone tell me if it would fit, the advert reads brake master cylinder all from 78-84 chassis numbers HY600001 to EV613000. my chassis number is 97760JY624509. do you think it would fit

I think Gethin is probably the best person to answer this one.
Having said that have you dismantled the old one?It may just need a repair kit which are a lot cheaper than the whole thing.
I have got one on my scrapper but I can't give any warranty as for it's condition.
