Hello from newbie member
Hello. My name is Mike. I've just picked up a 1973 Bedford CF Dormobile campervan, purchased from eBay. Lots of work to do on it - it's probably best to describe it as a running restoration project.
This is my first foray into classic camper van ownership, although I've owned quite a few classic cars in my time, including a Fiat X1/9, a Cox GTM, a Sunbeam Alpine GT, an MG Magnette ZA, a Triumph 2000 and a Leyland Atlantian Double Decker bus.
My plans are to tidy it up and get to know it first, then decide how much needs doing. The interior needs a refresh, and the wiring is definitely suspect, but it is in reasonably good condition throughout, so I aim to improve it bit by bit, whilst getting to use it as well.

Past track record.
Hi Mike,
With your background in old classic vehicles you should not have any problems with a Bedford CF, when I bought mine everybody thought it was a heap of scrap and a waste of money but it is still on the road and being used daily after eight years.
It still throws up the odd problem but I am still able to escape for a few days every now and then.
