Side indicators

So I am slowly going over the van and writing out a list of jobs to be done and looking for any parts needed. One thing I need 2 replace are the side indicators, one side is missing the lense cover and the over don't look that great and would rather change as a pair. I can't seem to find anything for a Cf1 side repeater anywhere. I know they are quiet a large oval and they sit in the vents. I was thinking of getting some oval ones from another make and then modifying it all to work but before I do that, does anyone know of side indicators that will work there or has anyone had the same issue and if so how did you sort it?

CF1 never had side repeaters

Looks like someone has fitted aftermarket ones.

A photo would help

Nope, not standard. The do look familiar though, just can't think what car I've seen them on.

I'm pretty sure the Mini ones need a cut out in the wing to clip into. The other ones look like they are flat and just stick on. I knew I had seen some similar before. The daughters Mini is parked outside. I think she might complain if I pull her indicator units off to check how they are fitted

Just found a picture of the back of a Mini unit. It does look like it needs a cut out

It does look good. Were they wired up? If you leave them off won't you end up with a hole in the wing where the wire came through? If you can't rescue the ones you have then I would go for the ones in the first link I sent. Look the same as the current ones.
