Bedford Gathering 2006 is now up and running.

Hello Campers!
Once again the event is being held within the grounds of Huntingdon Racecourse on Saturday August 26th and Sunday August 27th
As well as having our theme vehicle the Bedford TM, we will also be celebrating the seventy-fifth anniversary of the marque, with the grateful assistance of our major sponsor Bedford Genuine Parts. The clubhouse has been made available to us for the Saturday evening and it is planned to have an evening of entertainment for you to enjoy. Details of this will be posted to our website once they have been finalised.
Online booking of your vehicles is now open and if you wish to book your vehicle in, please visit our http://website www.bedfordgathering.com

All that remains is to see if we can beat last year’s record entry!
We look forward to seeing you and your campervans again.
Kind regards
Richard & Allan.
The BG Team

Rodasrs
You are more then welcome to park up and camp with all the other CF campers.
Yes we do have a few shiny Bedfords on display but this event is for all Bedford owners and their vehicles no matter what condition the vehicles may be in.
We do not have seperate areas for shiny or non-shiny vehicles.
We look forward to seeing you and your bedford in August.
Kind regards
Richard Haughey

My apologies as usual Richard. I will be up in Scotland as usual but this year we will have the first bedford cf Scotland gathering at the Games in Dunoon.
I wish you loads of success with the BG mate but then I know you work hard on it so itt's bound to be a success.

You are welcomed to arrive on the Friday evening.
The site has to be clear by midnight Sunday so a Sunday stop-over at the racecourse is not possible.
We do not charge people to camp with us. However you may wishto make a donation to our Macmillan Cancer Support fund in leiu of camping fees instead.
All campervans will be grouped togeather over the weekend.
To book your vehicle in please visit http://www.bedfordgathering.com

In furtherance of Stuart's enquiry, and Mr BG's answer -

There is no entry charge for vehicles booked in for display at BG.
We only charge Sales stallholders for their pitch - £35 this year - and visitors on the Sunday pay £7.50 per person, which includes a programme, with kids under 16 getting in free.
Please note that we do not cater specifically for children - experience tells us that children playing and moving vehicles inevitably come together!
Car parking is FREE, with a shuttle bus from Car park to display area, and back again.
We became aware of a problem last week with our email, this has now been sorted. If you have sent an email to us in the last week but have not had a reply, please resend it.

We have portaloos on site from Friday onwards, in addition to toilets in the clubhouse.
We have the presentations at around 3.30 to 4 pm and after that everybody goes home, except for us!
