We were down at Teignmouth at the weekend, and spotted an SV100 like ours parked on the Den car park overlooking the estuary. I think reg. was something like BPC***Y. Didn't get a chance to speak with owners, so don't know if they check this site.

They're probably still wondering who the strange bloke wandering round their van was. Nice parrot tho'!

I was in the cruiser today at the top of my road in Meliden nth Wales and someone drove past in a beddy camper.
There's me hanging out the window like a nutter waving and giving thumbs up.
so if they read this they now know why...

actually yesterday... thursday, i was on my way down to weston-super-mud, at around 20:30 i passed a beddy by the almondsbury interchange, i was going south, beddy was going north... at the time i was looking over my shoulder to see if i needed to allow for anything comming up the slip so just caught it out of the corner of my eye, from my glance i am convinced it was a beige/yellow coachbuilt CF
At least this time I was in my CF, so there is half a chance of being spotted! White cabbed 350 recovery truck, green/blue/black (depending on light) bonnet and cab back, wierd grey/purple coloured flat bed into a black beavertail

on thursday i would guess you would have been off north to enjoy the scenic northern part of our isles.. have fun!

Ipswich

Spotted a lovely looking Beddy in Ipswich this weekend, an over the cab job looking in very nice condition. Nearly ran into the guy in front of me trying to get a proper look, it was on the other side of the road. I was in my Range Rover so they probably thought I was a nutter giving them a wave an all.

Bedy spotting.

White E-reg beaver-tail CF with a green Austin 7 on the back spotted on the A361 between Nunney Catch and the Frome by-pass late Saturday aftenoon. Could this have been Gethin bach on his way to Chard?

bedfords coming out of our ears today...

no.1 was like ours a 250 motorhome on the DC skirting swindon.

no.2 was at http://www.wroughtonchallengerclassic.org.uk and a 1968 dormobile, immaculately restored.

no.3 was a bambi thing in country lane outside devizes

no.3 was a CF van conversion probably just emerged from the steam rally at keevil airfield.

In the over 1000 miles driven in the last 4 weeks we've still not seen another Beddy actually moving, but we did see two parked up only half a mile from each other on the A27 at the weekend. Saturday there was a mid 70's white CF1 coachbuilt in a layby eastbound at Lancing advertising a Soul Music evening, and on Monday morning westbound, again in Lancing but in a different layby, a B reg coachbuilt looking very much like dear old Bessie the SV100.

Hi Guys,

Ive been to Abersoch the weekend and have been 'eagle eyed' looking for Beddy's. The only one i've seen was just off the A5 Shrewsbury way - Tuesday about 4.00 ish - (it was a coachbuilt and looked very nice) I even pulled in the Layby so he could catch up!! Was it any of you guys?

ok .. have just drivenall the way to cirencester muttering D803 LKO...

'twas a CF Autosleeper just turning onto the fosse way (A429) to make the climb to stow-on-the-wold. looked very tidy.

(have to say we've been debating avoiding this route tomorrow due to some of the hills!)

i just saw two lovely cf coachbuilts on my way to portsmouth - one just before where the A31 turns into they M27 and the second at around Junction 7 of the M27. The first made me gasp as it was such a beautiful and imposing presence on the road. Excellent. Were either of those anyone here? i was chuggin along in my little dark green CF2 van.
