Hi Sid
Thanks a lot

Hi Roi
The coordinates you are giving ends up on Langary Road. Is it right?
It looks like a triangle with 2 big farm shelters on it.
(From googles earth)

The nearest thing that you have, Maurice, is I believe, a small part of Paris called The Champs Elysses but a true banger race does not have the klaxon.;D

as it says "orchard view" and "Sutton St Edmund" in the address i would have to guess it is most likely to be the one.
but I could be fooled.
I don't know how many Orchard views there are likely to be in Sutton st Edmund's Sid after all it's a very small place.
and the post code checks out too so it looks very likely.

Oh the English language!

Maurice

Banger is English slang for sausage.

We race them, the losers are killed and eaten in a ceremony. The winner goes on to race again.

Hope that helps.

;D

I take it none of you ever stay at camp sites? I was paying £20+ on some sites over 2 years ago. £16 with hookup seems very reasonable to me.

£12 B&B? We went to Paignton Dec 9+10 last year for Jaynes 40th (left the kids and dog behind). £50 per night for the room was the cheapest we could get

Hi Colin not when I can go tto one at a CCC holiday site for £5.50 p.u.n that is where I will be going.

Another for Lincs

We're talking about Bank holiday weekend right?

If so count us in - maninahat, womaninahat and Ollie the wonderdog.

Don't think Ollie fancies the banger racing though.

If all goes according to plan we'll go on to Derbyshire afterwards for a few days.

I've not missed a meet yet sid bach so I will sort out the one in orchard view campsite.
as you say 14.50 for the 3 nights is better than 37.50.
I will open it out to some other MH clubs to try and make up numbers

no one has to go to the banger meet maninhat.
but it should be a laff..
