I'm new ( to this forum)

Hi all,
Just got our first beddy. It's a 1979 CF1. The kids love it and have been sleeping in it all week as its parked round the back of the house!
Lots of work to do, loads of welding, sorting the wiring, fixing the windows and skylights, amongst other things.
All good fun.

Regards
Jeff

Lets see some pictures then!
Your kids will remember the camper for the rest of there lives, its some thing all kids must do, we have camped had a caravan now its a classic camper.
I never thought we could afford one until I found Bertie for £500 in a scrap yard, its cost about £200 to get him working and MOTd, but still very cheap in the motor home world.
As some one once said to me when we went camping in a caravan I had bought for £100, "your kids will have just as much fun as the kids over there with the £15000 new caravan" how true it was.

Welcome to the site.

It's not what you spend on it, it's what you do in it. Enjoy working on your new van, it's a great learning experience.

Hello and welcome. I hope all goes really well and there is loads of help here for you if the occassional glitch rears it's ugly head. When we first got our van we would just sit in her (well me and the children would) and really freak the postperson out when they delivered the mail as we were sat on the front drive. Some photos would be lovely.
