We hope to leave mid morning tomorrow barring any mishaps.

Speak for yourself Pete, some of us are already home.
It was a fantastic meet, made special by the people that turned up. It makes a nice change to be home in 2 hours; but some things never change, Dee still managed to turn up late, ah well.;D

Here's a few photographs:

Photograph taken early on in the meet, as many more turned up later

This is the view of the campsite from one of the little hills we climbed

Don't think I'm the tallest one here, we're actually standing on the side of a hill

Hi All. Arrived back home safe and sound around 11pm. Only got held up for one & half hours on return journey instaead of the six hour delay on outward journey.
Many thanks to all that turned up, made it a great Christmas / New Year break. A big thanks to Wendy & Rob, the site caretakers, for there outstanding efforts keeping the water running and all there help and support.
Weather here back in Dorset same as Scotland but without the stunning scenery.
Hope to see you all again during 2010.

Back Home

Hi Everyone

Happy New Year

Back home safe. It was a dodgy run down the road from the campsite - all that sheet ice on the hill going down!! Lost it nearly on the bend as a car was struggling up the hill and I had to swerve sharpish:o

Still all adds to the fun! Great time, Great Company, Thanks Debbie for the mementoes - nice thought! Thanks again, and see you again soon!

Hi

Well.............we got back to Edinburgh but got caught in a blizzard on the bypass. We decided to visit my mum on the west of the city and by the time we were heading home to Leeds the snow was coming thick and fast. We decided to stay at Margaret's house but when we got near there was no way we could get to her house because of the snow. We ended up staying the night in a Tesco car park !!!!
only to be woken at 2am by some young people doing handbrake turns and trying generally to have fun driving in the deep snow. They all ended up getting towed out of the car park by a Hilux pickup !!. By the morning we were all desperate for the loo but couldn't get out because all the locks were frozen in the vehicles !! thats when the portapotti came in handy.
Anyway we had a great time and looking forward to the next meet, hopefully Phil will have worked his magic on my Beddie. Will be putting some pics shortly
