Hello from the Forest of Dean

Hi,
I was on here about 5 years ago but forgot passwords etc so here I am again!
I sold my last couple of Bedfords back then and concentrated on classic and american cars unti I had the urge to get back into campers again..
So....
I pick up a 1980 Bedford CF280 coachbuilt tomorrow lunchtime!
Can't wait, so looking forward to hitting the open road and taking the wife & kids out most weekends.
I have to sell our folding camper now though (part of the agreement as I have far to many toys).
So, any other CF owners in the FOD?
Regards,Spence

Here are some inages of te camper I picked up today.

Riddled with issues, I managed to rip out so many wires not doing anything, that must save me some fuekl carting that around.
Also, very annoyed, the exhaust bracket had snapped once and melted throug the water tank so I now need to repair that.
Cant suss out how the taps work, going to have a go at the heater tomorrow to see if I can suss that out too!!!
But, at least it drove home nice.
;)

She is fairly solid, the grill is rotten though so I could do with a better one (anyone got one?).
Going to fit an LPG kit to her but first I also want to get it running smooth, she starts missing when cruising, it has had all new electrics so I thought of buying a new carb?
Cant think what else it could be.
It is a 2.3 Auto.

Welcome to the mad world of Bedford CF's Ravenracing.

A lot of the people on here will be at Malvern this weekend, so it will be somewhat quiet on here - see Club Meets thread for details.
