ca fuel pump

Can anyone help me with my fuel pump for a 63 ca van? Are there any other fuel pumps that fit? there is no petrol getting into the glass dome, so i think the diaphram has gone, but not sure. Anyone got any part numbers or advice on how to fix it?

There's a repair kit that motor factors might have or can get; make sure the kit has the 2 valves in (one on greedbay is incomplete).

First check the seal under the glass bowl; often it's gone hard & will leak air in.

I've had a look at my old AC Delco lists and although the CA van isn't mentioned specifically, the Vauxhall Victor of the same era is. On that car the pump number is 461-186 and the repair kit is 465-25. This may help a motor factors to cross-reference it for you. Cheers, John.

Thanks all

Thanks for your help, as soon as the weather clears i will take it apart and have a good look. Just so happens i have a couple of vauxhall victors so might be able to steal some bits and bobs of them.
