People coming so far... Scoobydoo bluebedouin Phil geebee jimbean (maybe) lyndel61 nigelnikkicf250 spookytim Matty071 markm Andycapp Terrymoto nifcf Noel Walker Mikeyboy Dee I have organised a few things for us all to do if any of you would be interested. Friday - arrive and chat. If it's nice then general chitchat and evening 'ghost' tour/stroll and or games. If raining - trip to pub. We can walk or drive. There's an undercover outside bit there. Serves real ale and has beer garden etc. Really nice place. http://www.qype.co.uk/place/52972-The-Harrington-Arms-Thulston Saturday 11am onwards - a CF 'show and tell' of some description. But at the same time a bus trip to Derby or children's go-carting for those who don't want to get mechanical. Saturday evening - possible BBQ although I don't have one and I am a veggy so if someone would like to volunteer for this then please do. CF-UK club footy match? All of this is just an idea so please feel free to dip into what you would like to. I will also need to get hold of our club banners and marquee. I have a gazebo but it's not that big. Any suggestions? :D ---------------------- | Wed 02 Feb 2011 @ 18:33 |

I've just been doing a bit of satellite viewing of the area & comparing old maps to see if anything's been buried over time.I noticed that the track round the top of the field is called Bedford Drive.;] ---------------------- | Sat 26 Mar 2011 @ 23:08 |

That was from the original cartographer who liked to use vans from the 70s as workhorses. After a particularly wet day of surveying, he was misquoted by the engraver whilst trying to simultaneously describe features on the ground and get his trusty van started so he could get to his lodgings in the local pub. As you all know, I am absolultely fastiduous in checking historical fact. My dad is Simon Schama and I discovered penicillin. ---------------------- | Sun 27 Mar 2011 @ 19:23 |
