Scared Now Hi all,I've really enjoyed reading all the stories and had a good laugh. Just bought my ex ambi, finally deciding to retire my tatty caravan. Ambi needed some work to brakes, then passed it's MOT. I was really looking forward to my first trip, now I'm terrified!!! as well as being quite excited. I have no idea of all the mechanical jargon and apart from oil and water, wouldn't know what to do under the bonnet! I reckon the £40 AA membership is the best investment I've made and I'm sure to use it often! Thanks for the laugh and the excellent site. I'll let you know how I get on..... Sorted and got it back today, able to fetch my new ambi home. They tell me to take it back in 5 days for a tweaking, when the brakes have 'bedded in'?? Congratulations are in order really since I then found out it took them two hours to find out how to open the bonnet! At least now the kids have gone back to school and I have a proper look at what I've got. Looking forward to posting about its' maiden voyage...:B TTFN Joanne ---------------------- |
