Phil I sent a PM about Phil Bradshaw but I havent had a reply although the message was read.I noticed he hadnt posted for a while and wondered if he was OK. Perhaps he has a new username? |

Sorry about not replying to your PM. I'm usually away from home and tend to have a quick scan of PMs with the intention of replying when I get a chance. I have a nasty habit of forgetting 
He still looks in quite regularly. There was a 'difference of opinion' over some matters back in the summer and we went our seperate ways. Hopefully this can be sorted out but it's a matter that myself or other Admin and Phil need to discuss in private. ---------------------- |

I'm missing Phils input into the forum. Has any advance been made over the difference in opinion. Please do, he's a sad loss to every one if nothing's sorted. My opinion, don't know everyting thats gone on |

I'm afraid after the last post Phil made which I had to delete straight away I doubt very much if he would be welcome on here. It's a shame as I was willing to let the past be just that, in the past, but he wasn't willing to let things go. ---------------------- |

Hi Colin, Phil was a man of great knowledge on CF's and his expertise will be greatly missed in this club, but that works two ways....! His knowledge is now of use to no one else other than him! Knowledge should be shared, no one individual has a divine right to knowledge! From what I saw of the dispute, Phil wanted full control over what he had written, but what he had written was already in the public domain by way of official Bedford repair manuals. Everything he said or wrote was an explanation of what had already been written by Vauxhall/Bedford technicians in official manuals, and they are still in copyright to Vauxhall. None-the-less, Phil had a way of providing a logical set of steps to trace faults, and that teacher like quality is now a great loss to this site! He will be missed, but this Club is much bigger than any one person. So here's to the next ten years!!! Martin |
