where to start hi everyone just got myself a 1978 cf camper it has not ran for 5 years it has only done 9 mile since its last mot got a service kit for it also a new battery i know i need tyres and brakes is there anything else i should be looking for?---------------------- | Sat 11 May 2013 @ 09:42 |

Think about doing the water pump and cambelt. After 5 years layed up I'd really want to have new ones on, and they are cheap to get hold of - cheaper than a top end rebuild if the belt fails. | Mon 13 May 2013 @ 10:05 |

Suck it and see, Tony. Anything can happen and probably will. I bought an immaculate, refurbed CF1 that had been garaged for months, but ran a wheel bearing in 80 miles `cos it dried out of lubricant while standing.
