coil

hi, could somebody help me please? ive been given a coil from an electronic ignition cf setup and was asking if this would be sutable to be direct wired to 12v so as to buypass the ballast resistor so that my beddy can run longer the 20mims!many thanks

it can be fitted to run on 12v with out the ballast yes , if your not fitting the electronic ignition as well then you will find that starting from cold in winter will be a bit difficult as the spark will be week on turnover
