Petrol pump Hi all I have a 1977 Bedford cf camper van. It came with the engine in bits. The petrol pump is missing I have tried the local car parts dealer and ebay. there are a couple of different pumps to chose from one has push on connectors the other has threaded connectors. does it matter which one I buy???? |

You could fit an electric one instead and blank off the original. Loads of 'em on Ebay. |

Screwed or Pushed is one of lifes eternal questions. In this case,- no difference, but Pete`s suggestion has validity. Make sure you filter the fuel, whatever. ---------------------- |

Good advice already given - I fitted an electronic pump and also a Filter King which acts as a regulator to prevent overfuelling the carb as well as keeping any crud out. Has worked well |
