Buying a CF2 Hi all. I am interested in a cf2 as im a young film extra needing a camper and im interested in older vehicles. I am wanting to know the regular info about them like mp etc and all the info i would need to knowThanks for the help Ben |

Hi Ben and welcome to the site. A lot depends on what you are looking to buy. You're looking for a CF2. A lot of people get confused between a CF1 facelift and a CF2. Externally they both look the same. The facelift model was introduced in 1980 and has the plastic grill but still had the 2.3l 'slant' engine. The CF2 came out in late 1984 and had the 2.0l and disk front brakes. What type of camper are you looking at? Pop top (van converted with folding lift up roof), high top (van converted with permanent fibre glass high roof), coach built (only uses the CF chassis & cab with a custom made body and usually has a bed over the cab) etc? Fuel consumption will vary depending on the body type. Coachbuilts (usually) having higher fuel consumption but more room. There are some brochures online here ---------------------- |
