Flat engine

Hi guys, Just brought my self a 1986 Bedford CF2 Motorhome, that's a bit of a fixer upper, called "Kristoph" (If you have a young daughter into Disney you'll understand). I took it out for its first Family Camp and it was brilliant. However its 1979cc petrol engine is a bit flat and keeps hunting. Does anybody know the correct timings and settings?
