brake judder hi I seem to have brake juddering when slowing down. when applying brakes heavelly no problem only when slowing down say for a bend. its got new shoes wheel cylinders springs etc. any ideas |

1 or 2 things you could try. find a friendly MOT testing station that will test your brakes to find out which wheel/wheels are causing the judder ( this is the best way forward) other way is to remove each drum and chamfer the leading edges of all the shoes and re adjust the shoes. |

is there any oil getting on the shoes and check the drums are ok where the shoes touch them , make sure there balanced ,like said already rollers at an mot station really handy if you can get access ![]() ---------------------- |

brake judder went through the M O T yesterday no problem the only thing he did say was that the n/s rear drum was slightly warped but didn't know if that would cause the judder. the brake test was as good as if it had disc on. very happy with it |
