On the move. Hi to all,Today we are on the move for our first jolly of the season down to the borders but stopping before they start talking funny, the weather forecast is good and the site sounds like it has all we will need. Let's hope the old Bedford does not have any daft problems! doujoy ---------------------- | Fri 17 Apr 2015 @ 09:41 |

Return from weekend jolly. Hi to all,A good run down to Gretna and the old Bedford ran well no fuel required en-route but because of extra tank, so all at Asda price 110per ltr. Had time to visit an friend and his wife from military times and just home about four this afternoon. Total of 320 miles a pint of water and a half pint of oil. doujoy ---------------------- | Sun 19 Apr 2015 @ 16:23 |

Extra fuel tank. Hi to all,I bought a fuel tank off e-bay and scraped the spare wheel carrier and made a mount for it inside the van then mounted the extra tank which was off a mark one Bedford CF with a side filler and brought the filler neck up behind the rear bumper. Linked that tank to the first one with an SU electric pump so that the fuel can be transferred on the move and increased the fuel carried from thirteen to twenty six gallons. doujoy ---------------------- | Sun 19 Apr 2015 @ 21:11 |

Camera's. Hi to all,For the last two years I have added a dashboard camera which sits on the windscreen up beside the rear view mirror at a cost of £38.00, I would recommend one to anybody who travel's in slower motors like I do because they will help an insurance claim if you unlucky enough to fall foul of some plonker who thinks he owns road and you are just in his way. doujoy ---------------------- | Mon 20 Apr 2015 @ 09:56 |

Corrective maintainace. Hi to all,Some work to be done after our trip down to Gretna, couple of door latches a heater that has became detached from its mounting point, the price to be paid for farm road driving. And then I hope to be off around the end of the month but this time to the north, a place called Lairg which has very good loch fishing. doujoy ---------------------- | Tue 21 Apr 2015 @ 20:16 |

My next jolly. Hi to all,Apart from getting fuelled up my next jolly will be Kelso rally on the 15th of May, I can only hope that the weather warms up a bit before then. I might take number one with me then he can fish for our tea while I enjoy the rally and maybe buy something I need for the Bedford, good for spares these rallies. doujoy ---------------------- | Mon 27 Apr 2015 @ 20:09 |

Weather. Hi to all,I am living in hope that this weather is going to give way to some summer sunshine in time for my next jolly on the fifteenth down to Kelso, I think if we can get the election out of the way that should improve the weather. doujoy ---------------------- | Sun 03 May 2015 @ 10:58 |
