Whats this knob for??? Can anyone please identify what the green knob is for on the lower right hand side of the dash on my 1980 CF 250? As far as I can tell nothing happens when it is operated but it must have been for something :)Many thanks Mike | Thu 30 Jul 2015 @ 12:40 |

Green knob. Hi Mike,Well on my CF it is where the cigarette lighter lives into which I have plugged my dash-board camera. doujoy ---------------------- | Thu 30 Jul 2015 @ 15:09 |

Hi Doug, thanks for that, my cigarette lighter is in the centre of the dash next to the radio so they are different. Mike | Thu 30 Jul 2015 @ 15:36 |

On all the photos I've found it's blanked off so looks like it's a later addition. Have you tried tracing the wires? ---------------------- | Thu 30 Jul 2015 @ 16:23 |

knob that does nothing. Hi Mike,Had another look at your photo and I think maybe that green and that black wire showing under the dash might go to that switch, reverse light or spot lights, maybe an under bonnet work light. doujoy ---------------------- | Thu 30 Jul 2015 @ 19:48 |

Thanks for your suggestions oaks, not managed to look at the problem yet, about to re bore and fit new pistons as we are on 3.5bcylinders at the moment. Will check the colour code of the wires soon and compare them with the wiring diagram :) | Sun 02 Aug 2015 @ 21:23 |
