Leaking roof. Hi Tinker,On one had more roof leakage problems than myself and after trying a number of recommended treatments all of which failed to do a completely successful job I decided to recover the entire roof with sticky back flash-band. With careful attention to the roof light joints and mountings and the side seams where the roof meets with the side panels and this was a successful job, but the next thing to do was to take down the inside ceiling panels and strip out all the soaking wet ply-wood which was still holding water ad the cause of that damp smell. Apart from the time involved the cost was around £80.00 but well worth it, it also gives you a chance to get a good look at the timber wood frame of the van. doujoy ---------------------- |

I've never tried this stuff myself but I've heard very good reprts of 'DICHT-FIX'. You just paint it onto the leaking (and surounding) areas. Try a search for it on ebay. Prices vary from £8.99 upwards ---------------------- |
