Anon Deleted Posts : Location : Status    : Offline	swivel seats hi I was thinking of converting my seats on my cf250 hightop camper to swivel by adding a swivel plate onto the bottom of the seat could this be done are has any one tried it

bluebedouin Global Moderator Posts : 2444 Location : Northampton,England. Status    : Offline	You might find there just isn't enough room for it to swivel.I tried it on mine & the back of the seat caught on the steering wheel.Depends how much room you have to push the seat back to start with.

Anon Deleted Posts : Location : Status    : Offline	Swivel seat base Hi Joe, I've got an old Dormobile which somebody fitted a swivel seat base to the passenger seat to. They've removed the original box type CF seat base and made their own to keep the same seat height. Also there is no bulkhead behind the seat which I assume you don't have on your camper. Otherwise there won't be enough room to swivel :-) Cheers Frank

I'd like to re-itterate that you should make sure the runners allow the seat to turn without hitting the steering wheel. The original seat box had been cut down, but the position of the runners meant that the seat back hit the steering wheel The result was that the seat could only be swivelled to look out of the van!!!!
