Bedford CF engine. Hi to all,Checked out that rebuilt slant 2.3 engine to get it rolling over on a starter motor, first with no spark plugs and then with plugs fitted, it can now be started and ran before fitting, all working well. doujoy | Sun 13 Dec 2020 @ 15:35 |

Hmmm.....£17,000 for a rebuilt engine seems a bit steep to me ---------------------- | Mon 14 Dec 2020 @ 09:22 |

Hi Colin, In this real world of machining new pistons new oil pump reground crank and rebored block plus new gaskets and seals, with no cost added for my time rebuilding and a cylinder head with recut valve seats and refaced valves. The machine shop price to do the complete rebuild was over £2,000, so quite a lot for £1700. doujoy | Mon 14 Dec 2020 @ 11:28 |

Figures. Hi Colin,I have been infected by the amounts of money Westminster has decided to give away to other country's so that they can develop weapons of mass destruction, and then send their well armed and trained terrorists to attack us. doujoy | Fri 18 Dec 2020 @ 12:41 |

Happy Christmas to all. Hi to all,I was brought up on a hill farm in the 1940's and Christmas was a one family a fair so we as children seen nobody other than our direct family, and for my father it was just another working day with stock to be fed and cared for. Yet they are the Christmas days I remember as the best ever, on the days following the returning Germain prisoners of war with gifts handmade of wood for all the farm children on the estate. Have a safe and happy Christmas. doujoy | Sun 20 Dec 2020 @ 13:46 |
