Fairly certain I'm not

My only concern though is that where I live the Severn is barely spitting distance wide! (though thankfully there is still a fir bit of Gloucestershire between me and them) Can see an invasion army riding the bore any day now...

Incidently anyone comming Epney way to watch the bore, feel free to pop on by... though it is getting a little late in the year for the good ones

Sorry Gethin. Since you posted the photos, I`ve removed my account from fotobukit `cos I object to all the pop--ups that are stuffed on the page. If you want another photo, Broad Oak, Canterbury, at the end of April (if the eye surgeon isn`t drunk on the 4th April). Bring your camera!;D

Popped over to Cinderford earlier to pick up some furniture, I had to stop at the top of the hill and wait for my mother... I was sat there when all of a sudden I spotted in the drive to one of the houses to my left a facelift or CF2! I was about ready to pop in and ask if they wanted shot of it (probably a comment more at home on the banger racing forum than the CF owners forum, but ho hey) When mum turned up, so on we went. On the way back I took another look and realised that there was building work going on and the CF, a tipper or dropside was full of stone... so obviously belonging to someone who had it very much in use!
Good to see! Is it anyone from here? (and do you want shot of it?! )

I'm going to be up your neck of the woods Tibbs(or Forest!) the next couple of days.
We're staying on the big site near Coleford for 2 days and then heading up to Malvern for the show.

Ed, That's a foreign van isn't it? judging by the number plate. So it's technically an Opel Blitz. This means "lightning" in German which is about the least apt name you could give one of these vans. I didn't think the Germans were big on irony but perhaps I'm wrong

You are, of course, right. It's the angle it was taken at (and the 4 pints of Tim Taylor's I had last night as well!).

Still stand by what I said about the Blitz though!

Feel free to pop on by Dubzi!

Is that the big Forestry commission site in Coleford? If so thats not a bad site at all, have been there a couple of times with the Grandparents and again with the missus. It makes a good base for mountain biking or walking if you are into that kind of thing. Nice facilities too, we camped on the bottom field last time, was slightly quieter than i remember the top field being, plus the scenery was a little nicer as you look over the forest more than into it... if memory serves of course!

Take care, have a good one

The cream/brown van is definitely UK registered. He's done something funky with the lettering on the numberplate, but I couldn't make out what it stood for. Anyone admit to owning it yet??

And like buses, I saw another one this morning. A CF350 Advantura (groan!!) on a V plate on Pinhoe Road in Exeter. It had loads of Snap on stickers and a ladder on the back left. I was going to take a photo of it, but felt too much like a beddy train spotter !

Whose is the Advantura?

a yellow /white coachbuilt on the A49 at Hereford on wednesday 25th
spotted by roi and Chattabocs as they wended their way to Swansea yet again
and still got to go again as the car failed :-<

but after being stood for over 18 months she fired up not only on the first turn of the key but no whir whir she just fired up instantly.
damn good engine that toymota
but that's what the problem has been, it's a special motor developed for their own staff which was why I couldn't get the damned alternator.
looking forward to driving it again now.

so I might see mr yellow / white beddy again next week

And another one...

I drive in to Bridgwater early every weekday morning, and pass a blue C plate CF tipper truck. Looks like it earns its living, but is by no means a wreck. Is the owner on here?

Sunday night I saw on the M5 southbound (between J13 & 14) a Facelift or CF2 towing probably the biggest box trailer I have ever seen on a 3.5 tonner, looks like it was doing so by fifth wheel... and the whole lot was yellow! Surly someone must know something about that babber?!

How weird - The Beddy which I saw in Wales (The picture five posts above this one) I'm 99% sure I saw it last Friday in Lye (Stourbridge) filling up with the LPG....... which is 2 minutes from my house.

That Beddy is following me;D

I'm gonna be keeping a keen eye out this week in anticipation;]
